Name: Maston Satan
Age: 2 1/2
Gender: Male
Species: Timber Wolf
Pack Loner
Appearance: Maston is not a typical young wolf in and his looks in particular are something of a spectacle to look upon. Though above average size he is a lot bulkier than would be seen normal; not because he is greedy but because of the well-toned muscle which has developed around his frame. However, if a wolf could see beyond the wall of muscle they would see that he is, in fact, around a normal size. His pelt is one of many colours and is something that is very difficult to describe. With a base colour of dark grey he would be nothing out of the ordinary if he hadn’t been granted his multi-array of markings which were sometimes a gift yet at other times a curse. The audits are an obsidian colour, as are the circles around his opticals and the stocking on his right foreleg. Opposing this black the tip of his tassel is white as is his throat, circling the neck and touching the black of the ears. He has a white stocking on his left foreleg which contrasts with the black in a shocking way. His other two legs are plagued with pale grey stockings which contrast with the main body colour only in shade.
Across his back he has two sorrel strips which then slide to his underbelly which is also sorrel in colour. Connecting these stripes down his spine is a tan line which runs from beneath the white colour to the white tip of his tassel. He also has three fox-red stars on his right fore shoulder. Another thing that makes him different are his orbits which, instead of the usual greens, blues, reds and yellows shine a different colour- lilac. This colouring, caused by a genetic disfiguration, makes him stand out even more. After all, who has ever seen a wolf with lilac coloured eyes? It isn’t exactly a normal sight, is it?
His movement, however, is one thing that is not so odd. With speed and power it always seems that he has a mission, though he is usually just walking around in boredom. Every slight move makes his humongous muscles move visibly beneath his thick yet short pelt so, when he walks, you can imagine the affect. What adds to the affect is the fact that not a sound is made. It would strike fear into most hearts just to lay eyes on him. Despite this, he possesses few scars due to his fighting skills.
Personality: The first thing that will strike Maston is his honesty: if he doesn’t like someone he will make his opinion heard. He usually won’t put it in a disrespective way, though it still can be rather hurtful. When in a meet discussing a certain topic he will indulge advice he sees fits. So, lesson one on Maston: he sees no point in hiding his views.
Another thing to know about Mayon is his intelligence. Though the typical thoughts of a huge, muscled brute is that they are dumb it is not true in this case. Brains are not a problem as he has extensive knowledge in areas such as fighting, hunting and spying. This knowledge came from an expansive training program which he undertook at one month old. So, lesson two: don’t underestimate his brain power.
One thing to watch is his temper for when he is in a bad mood it is a truly disastrous mood. He will never forget and never forgive, merely remember things and hold a grudge that will last a lifetime. He will pick victims; usually those lower in rank, though occasionally higher ranking individuals, and seek fights and other such novelties. However, this isn’t just to calm him down but to keep up his form in the fighting front. He does know how to control this aspect of himself but, the question is, will he choose to control it? Lesson three: beware his temper.
He does not trust any wolf and will never share his secrets. He keeps his problems to himself, preferring not to give potential enemies anything they may turn against him later on. Everything stays with him. Nothing comes from him. It’s his way of dealing with things and others have to get used to it. Lesson four: don’t expect to be trusted
He may seem like a solitary wolf but is not one. His loyalties are not easy to gain but, when they are they hardly waver. He follows instructions to the last detail, no matter what the affect on him may be. If the alpha of a pack he is in said jump over a waterfall he would. However, one loyalty that still remains is that to his trainer; Nalinsti Serinol, so don’t be surprised if information finds it’s way to her. Lesson five: his loyalties are worth earning but beware of his past loyalties.
History: His mother, Thriste, was new to the pack, but she quickly fell for the Beta, Roath Hawthorn. She was originally accepted by him as a subordinate, as was normal, but he soon became her mate and she was given the rank Betan. The love between them was strong, their bond just as strong, if not stronger, than that of the alpha pair. Even though they had become mates quickly it was obvious they were made for one another. They spent every moment together, if they could. Of course at times they were forced to split- but they tried to avoid such situations. The problems was, Thriste did not want pups, and Roath was never going to push her. On the other hand, the alphas felt that the pack needed pups. They ordered that the mating happen. Though she did not want them, Thriste was forced to give birth to a litter.
Four pups were born from the mating, each individual from the next. They were beautiful, in their own way, but their oddities made them even more popular than normal with the pack members. The litter consisted of two males and two females, and the one which came to be known as Maston was the largest pup. When it came to naming the discussion took a while but eventually they were agreed. The pup's names were to be Maston, Sayuri, Recon and Syrit. Maston was mainly dark grey, Sayuri was mainly brown, Recon was mainly white and Syrit's coat was a mixture of colours, all around equally dominant. The pair loved the litter, even though they had not wished for it. They happily showed it off, they loved their little ones.
Abnormally, one pup was chosen for a specialist training programme that meant that, even though his loyalty would always lie with the pack, he would never run with the pack once grown. His parents were told to have him weaned by one months old. They worked hard and, luckily for them, managed it- just. He was taken from his family at a month old to start his new life.
The training programme was known to be difficult. What wasn't known was that most pups that entereddid not make it. At around the same time Maston started another pup started to- that pup never survived.
Maston's training consisted of the basics and more, so to begin with he was just trained fighting, hunting and spying, but then came the more advanced part, the more difficult part. He was trained to hide his scent completely, how to hide that you had ever been somewhere, even when you were still there. He was taught in depth about things most wolvs would never understand. But the training meant he would go through life with a different view on everything.
When he finished his training he was chased off, told to find his way in the world, but never to forget where his loyalties should lie. If he was ever called for he was to return. He waljked through the world alone, spoke to a few and learnt more, including acting from a fellow called Samin Serinol, before he came here. Now he wishes to make his claim, and become an important wolf in the world.
