She had been wandering for so long now, it sucked, to be honest. Tsunami used to love the idea of traveling, but now that she had been alone for so long she was growing weary of it. She had left the pack earlier than she had wanted to, but that was because of circumstances that were beyond her control. No, she couldn't start thinking about the pack now, they had been dead for so long and it was not worth re-opening those old wounds...wounds that would never truly heal.
As the wolf walked, she caught scent of a border. She was in someone's lands. She had not meant to do that, but maybe this was an opportunity. Maybe this is the new life that she had been waiting for. If she was in a pack then she would be able to be around other wolves again, and that was a scenario that gave Tsunami hope.
She was a wolf with manners, and once she worked out where the borderlines were, she stepped away so she was just inside neutral territory. She did not want to trespass in case it gave the alpha reason to not have her in the pack, maybe if they thought she was impolite. No, she would stand out here, and show that she was a creature who had respect for others.
Holding her head up high, she let out a long call, calling the alpha to come and see her. She wanted to know what they were like, and hoped that they were as kind and as peaceful as she was. The last thing she wanted was to be dragged into an evil wolf's scheme. That would only bring more depression for her, and though she had beaten it before, she was not so sure that she would be able to beat it again.
