Kadan walked softly on the lands he was brought up on. As he wandered he noted places significant to his life. To his right was the cave that dog of a foster mum had taken him to and further up by the brook was where is parents had abandoned him. It was quiet, which was unusual for Yeusei as there was always the sound of wolves. At least that's what he remembered. He let out a howl that reached even the farthest corners of Yeusei. It was loud and and sliced the air as though it were butter. He hoped that perhaps someone had heard him, acknowledged he was still alive. His mother or father never did until he turned up at the pack. Why should anyone else? He sat by the brook and waited, hopelessly for life to come.

Kaden stopped, sat up and thought to himself. Maybe I could lead these lands? He knew it was possible. He had been tought afterall. He tilted his head up and let out a weak howl. But as he let the howl fill him, come from inside, it grew stronger and louder. It echoed all over Yeusei, echoed as though it were the only sound in the world. It was his song, his howl, and it was what he was born to do.
